Realcomp is pleased to announce that the Realcomp Mobile^TM application has been enhanced and now provides Realcomp Mobile^TM users with the ability to...

1).  Search for OPEN HOUSES:  Realcomp Mobile^TM users can search for open houses scheduled within the next 14 days. Users have the ability to locate open houses easily using various criteria including: street number (min and max), street name, subdivision, city, zip code, and MLS area number.

2).  Set and Save Your PREFERENCES to display listing data the way you prefer to see it in the Realcomp Mobile^TM application. Use the new Preferences tool to control the following…

• Font Size – “normal” and “large” are now your new options. If you wish to increase the font size of the text displayed in Realcomp MobileTM, simply choose the “large” option to accomplish this.
• Detail - Display Photos – “All Photos”, “Primary Photos Only”, and “Do Not Display Photos” are now options for you. Through them, you can now choose to display:
• All Photos (the previous default display in Realcomp MobileTM );
• Primary Photos Only – limiting your Detail View to the primary photo and thereby decreasing the display time for listings; or
• Do Not Display Photos – optimizing the display time for each listing by removing photos from the listing displays altogether.

Simply choose your favorite way to display the listing data (with all photos, one photo, or none) and speed up the display of the data on your handheld device as a result.

• Detail – Features Description Display – “Display on Page” or “Separate Link” are now options for you as well. You can choose to have Feature Descriptions continue to appear as separate links (which you select or click to view the associated details) or automatically display on the page with the rest of the listing detail. The “Display on Page” option may require you to scroll up and down more to see all of the listing detail, but will save you from having to select or “click” hyperlinks to see that information. You simply set your preferences based on the option you most prefer.
• Detail – Room Dimensions Display - “Display on Page” or “Separate Link”. Just like the Features Description Display choices, you now have the option of controlling whether or not the Room Dimensions continue to appear as separate links (which you select or click to view the associated details) or automatically display on the page with the rest of the listing detail. Again, the “Display on Page” option may require you to scroll up and down more to see all of the listing detail, but will save you from having to select or “click” hyperlinks to see that information. You set your preferences based on the way you want to access that data.

3).  Perform Subdivision Searches Using “Contains” Logic: The Subdivision search function in the Address Search will now use “contains” logic, rather than “begins with”. This means when you enter any word in the Subdivision search criteria,  Realcomp Mobile^TM will return listing matches based on the inclusion of that word in the subdivision data for those listings (regardless of whether the word is at the beginning, middle, or the end of the field). For example, when searching on “Forest” as the subdivision, listings in “Forest Hills” and “Nottingham Forest” will appear as matches.

Many of these enhancements were requested by Realcomp Mobile^TM users. You provided your feedback, we listened, and we are now implementing improvements as a result. Please let us know what you think!
