7/29/08: Realcomp Online^® was made compatible with non-Internet Explorer browsers (Firefox, Safari, & Opera). This means REALTOR® members who prefer to use one of these alternative Internet browsers while accessing the system are now able to do so, with a few exceptions*. We are pleased to be able to offer these alternative browser options, listening to the needs of our REALTOR® members and delivering accordingly.

* For the time being, our Listing Load module will continue to require Internet Explorer. Additionally, not all of our integrated vendor partners have incorporated “browser neutrality” into their systems. Thus, Realist Public Records and Rapattoni IMS Billing (My Account) will continue to require Internet Explorer.

Realcomp’s Official Browser Compatibility Policy: We will continue to explicitly code and test for Internet Explorer.  We will test against FireFox, Safari (Win & Mac), and Opera and will attempt to resolve issues with these browsers as they are found either during pre-release or through our regular quarterly build cycle so long as the resolution to the issue doesn’t cause a problem with using Realcomp Online^® on Internet Explorer.

Browser Diagnostics Tool: This tool allows us to collect information from you about your PC setup that will assist us in troubleshooting problems you may be having. Details about your browser will be automatically displayed on your screen. You'll then be able to forward this information to Realcomp for further action.
