AT&T Change Affects How Some Text Messages Are Delivered

AT&T has stopped delivering text messages that come from an email address. Other carriers are expected to follow, which may affect some of your notifications in Matrix.

What This Means

Certain Matrix text notifications you receive are sent from an email address (rco@mlsmatrix.com). These include alerts when a client visits OneHome, marks a listing as a favorite, or other activity updates. If you use AT&T, you will not receive these notifications, and subscribers with other carriers may soon be affected as well.
Your clients are not impacted. Texts to clients — such as welcome to OneHome messages and new listing alerts — come from phone numbers, not email addresses, and will continue to be delivered.

Texts That Still Work

- Welcome to OneHome texts to clients
- OneHome new listing alerts to clients
- Multi-Factor Authentication texts to you
- Texts from Paragon Connect
- SentriLock texts to you

What You Should Do

If you use AT&T and are not receiving your client activity texts, you’ll need to switch your notifications to email:
1. Go to RCO3 > Click the arrow next to your name at the top right > Click Settings > Portal Notification Settings
2. Review the list of text notifications
3. Update impacted alerts from text to email delivery

We’ll continue monitoring this issue and share updates as other carriers phase out email-to-text service.
