Last month I talked about the process of developing a strategic plan for 2010. We met this objective in January and the next step is for the Management Team of Realcomp to develop a detailed business plan for the individual projects we want to accomplish this year. While we work on the details of this report, I want to remind you of some of the products and services we currently offer. • Photos-Did you know that we have attached the MLS photos to the properties in the public record database? If a property was listed in the MLS, you can see the primary (exterior) photo when accessing the property from Realcomp’s public record module.
• StreetScape Photos-You can access the StreetScape photo database from public records for approximately 70% of the properties in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties. A StreetScape photo allows you to see dynamic panoramic views of properties and to view the neighborhood. When looking at a record in PRD, choose a report that includes photos. Take a look!
• Realcomp Mobile^®-You can access MLS data and more with any mobile device equipped with internet access. There is no additional charge for this service. The URL is www.realcompmobile.com. It’s easy to use and can come in very handy while away from your office or PC. Try it!
• ShowingAssist™-This program is an online scheduling system that allows you to automate much of the showing management process. You can display “open hours” for homes on the market, specify the showing instructions, generate online activity reports, and share feedback about properties. It also offers an additional layer of security. Check it out!
• Public Record Data – Realcomp currently has public record data for forty-four (44) Michigan Counties plus the City of Detroit. In February, we will be adding data for seven (7) more counties, bringing our new total to 51. We are on track to have PRD for the entire Lower Peninsula by the end of this year.
