Listing Attachment Retention Policy Changes Effective August 4

A recently passed motion by the Realcomp Board of Governors changes the policy regarding the availability of listing attachments and documents on off-market listings.

Previously, listing attachments and documents were automatically removed 12 months after a listing changed to an off-market status. Effective August 4, listing attachments and documents will no longer be automatically removed from any listing.

As the listing agent or broker, you may remove attachments and documents from your listing while it is in an active or other on-market status. If you do not want these files to remain available to MLS Subscribers after the listing moves to an off-market status, you must remove them before changing the listing to an off-market status, such as Pending or Withdrawn.

If no action is taken, the attachments and documents will remain associated with the listing and continue to be accessible to MLS Subscribers.
