Many of you may have noticed the list of Realcomp’s Technology Partners that is included on our corporate website, www.realcomp.com. For those of you who are not familiar with our Technology Partners I thought I would explain how these partnerships are formed and the benefits they bring to our subscribers.

We have many different companies contact us each month asking to form a partnership with Realcomp which would, in turn, allow them to offer their products and/or services to our subscribers. We have a process that we follow when looking at these various companies.

First, we look at the specific product or service to determine if it is something that our customers have requested and is related to our industry. Once it is determined that the product or service may be a good fit, we look at whether it competes with Realcomp or our customers before proceeding any further. We then meet with representatives from the company to learn more about them.

Each of our Technology Partners is required to sign an agreement with Realcomp. This agreement includes some basic requirements for each of our partners including:

• They must avoid deceptive, misleading or unethical practices that may be detrimental to Realcomp or our subscribers.
• Each Partner must provide a letter of recommendation from a current Realcomp Subscriber that attests to that Subscriber’s positive experience with the product or service.
• Each Partner must present Realcomp’s Subscribers with their best price.

It’s also important to point out that Realcomp does not benefit financially from these partnerships. Instead, we insist that any savings generated from technology partner agreements be passed along to our subscribers.
