It's hard to believe that this year is already half over! The first half has been very busy and productive for Realcomp. I thought I would provide you with a brief update on our midyear accomplishments and some of the improvements we’re planning for the second half of the year.

Customer Care and Training

During the first five (5) months of this year, our Customer Care Team responded to 31,795 support calls from Realcomp Customers! In addition, over 3,300 support-related questions were addressed via e-mail. Over 1,200 agents attended training on various subjects at Realcomp. We expect to expand our offerings during the second half of this year, so please watch for updates accordingly.

Realcomp Participation

As of July 15th, Realcomp’s participation increased to 12,926 users and 1,881 offices.

Data Sharing

We are pleased to report that many of you are taking advantage of our data sharing partnerships with surrounding Boards and MLSs. Through these partnerships, the following MLS organizations are accessed by the following numbers of Realcomp users (at no additional charge):

• Down River MLS - 643
• Eastern Thumb MLS - 620
• Monroe MLS - 154
• Jackson/Lenawee MLS - 143

We continue to investigate ways by which we can grow your MLS access!

Update on Realcomp Online^®

Many improvements have been made to Realcomp Online^®. Below are just a few of the “big ones”:

• Ability to include up to six (6) photos and one (1) Virtual Tour per listing;
• New menu item called “External Research” which directs users to plat maps, school profiles, community profiles, population estimates and U.S. Census Michigan facts;
• Simplified process for adding tours and open houses;
• Ability to e-mail additional reports and flyers from any email screen;
• A customizable header for flyers and reports to include your photo and company logo.

Additional improvements are being planned and programmed.

Public Record Data

Thanks to our partnership with First American, we’ve been successful in expanding your access to online public records! We have added property descriptive data to properties in Wayne County and the following new counties: Lenawee, Ingham, Sanilac and Shiawassee. Also, we continue to work with First American to bring you the Realist application in future months.
