With summer in full swing, it is a good time to take a look at progress of our projects from the 2006 Business Plan.

Agent Direct Billing
Realcomp implemented agent direct billing in the second quarter. This new billing method was a major change for all of our customers and was met with both good and bad reviews. We have monitored the processes over the first two (2) quarters of implementation and have made some improvements. We have also received suggestions from some of our subscribers and will continue to make enhancements based on your input. We will communicate any additional changes through our normal channels, so please watch for updates!

Realist^®
In May, we released Realist^®, the First American^TM Public Record Data search system. In June, there were 14,954 logins into the Realist^® system! We feel that this rollout was a great success and that many of you are reaping the benefits of this additional database.

We have also received some suggested changes and enhancements to this product by subscribers. Since this is not a Realcomp application but a national product owned by First AmericanTM, we cannot always accommodate your requests. We will forward your suggestions to First AmericanTM and look at how we may be able to incorporate the same changes in Realcomp Online^® Public Record Data. So please continue to provide your feedback.

New CMA Module
Last year we began the search for a CMA module to replace the program currently available on Realcomp Online^®. We were fortunate to have many of our subscribers participate in this process and made a recommendation to the Board of Governors for the purchase of a replacement module. The Board agreed with the recommendation and we moved into contract negotiations. Unfortunately, we were not successful in securing an acceptable agreement. Therefore, we are now looking at other options.

We appreciate all of you who volunteered your time to this important project. Based on your involvement with the survey and vendor demonstrations, we understand what you need from a CMA module which is critical to the process moving forward. We will keep you informed of our progress each step of the way, so please watch for important updates as they become available.
