Q&A Corner: How Do I Remove Comparables from a CMA in RCO3? (05/14/13)

Q: I know how to remove comparables from a CMA in Realcomp Online® (Classic), but how do I accomplish this in RCO3®?

A: Thank you for your question! There are really two (2) points at which you can remove comparable listings from a CMA in RCO3®; the first is during the search process and the second is after the CMA has been saved.

While doing a search, you may remove listings from your results by choosing "REFINE". Once you have your search results displayed, click the "Refine" button. Then, select the listings you want to keep and click the “Narrow” option or select the listings you want to remove and click the "Discard" option.

Once a CMA has been saved, you may remove a listing from the CMA by going to "MY RCO" and "CMAs". Select the CMA you would like to edit and choose the "Edit CMA" option. Select the Comparables page and check the box that appears next to the listing you want to remove. At the bottom of the page click "Remove Selected" and click OK to confirm.

To learn how to create a CMA on RCO3 from beginning to end, view our 12-minute webinar video or consider attending a hands-on class at Realcomp.
