New Enhancements Implemented on Realcomp Online (06/22/10)
This quarter's enhancements involve mapping, listing agent contact, printed report defaults, unlicensed office assistants, new feature codes, and verbiage clarifications! Get the details here...
As a part of Realcomp’s regular business practices to continually upgrade our systems to meet (or exceed) the needs of our REALTOR® customers, Realcomp has implemented the following enhancements:
- A new mapping layer called ‘Points of Interest’ has been added to the Bing maps. This now allows you to add various icons (i.e. Associations, Automotive, Eating - Drinking, Education, Farming, Health Care, Personal Services, Pet Services, Recreation, Shopping, or Travel) to a map to view where types of businesses are located in relation to specific properties. This may help you to assist clients in verifying whether certain types of businesses (i.e. health care facilities) or specific businesses are located near properties of interest. Just click a house icon on a Bing map to bring up the “RealMap” interface - you’ll then be able to add the ‘Points of Interest’ layer to your map by clicking the “expand” link.
- ‘Contact List Agent Link’ Improved: We’ve enhanced this link to automatically include the complete property address of the listing in the subject line of any e-mail message the link generates. This should help to clarify which listing is being discussed in an e-mail (no matter which MLS number is assigned to the property).
- You now have the ability to save your favorite report and flyer formats for printing purposes! Just add these reports as your new printer default options by clicking “Agent” and “My Preferences” in Realcomp Online®.
- In an effort to ensure that unlicensed office assistants do not provide services they are not legally authorized to provide to consumers, unlicensed office assistants are no longer permitted to email listing information from the MLS system.
- A new ‘FHA 203K’ feature code has been added to the system so listings and sales can properly reflect this rehab loan option (when applicable).
- ‘Pets Allowed’ is a new feature on RS listings under “Interior Features”. This should assist you in identifying listings as such, and help others to find rentals that accommodate their pet needs.
- The Exterior field is required on RS, MF, CO and CM forms.
- Since Realcomp is now providing property photos from our digital photo library (when possible), we have modified our photo verbiage on listing forms to read: “Would you like Realcomp to provide a photo?”
- To help clarify which date needs to be provided to Realcomp as the ‘Contract Date’, we have modified this verbiage to read as: ‘Contract Pending Date’.
View our slideshow and please let us know what you think about these enhancements! Your feedback is very important to us and vital for future improvements. Thank you.
